TERMS OF SERVICE
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Please note: You must have your own bank account/Spending accounts to order from me. No exceptions!
I take payment via Stripe/Paypal & Ko-fi. For high value commissions, I send invoices through a neat little service called Artistree.io (they plant trees!). Please know that this service charges a small fee when processing your payment! I have no control over this fee as it is a feature of Artistree and I won't be reimbursing you for it.
For certain commission types, I will use the specific payment processors mentioned below:
Vtuber model art: Artistree.io or Stripe (both pass certain fees to the client so keep that in mind when purchasing!)
Adoptables: Ko-fi (You can either donate the value of the adopt to me or I will post the adopt as a digital purchase on Ko-fi for you to directly buy.)
I take 100% payment upfront for Adopts & Personal Commissions.
Upfront Payments must be made within 24 hours of ordering or your slot will be made available to another client!
For Commercial commissions, you have the option of 50% upfront and 50% 14 days later if your commission is valued at over $500. Note that I do not start working on commissions until they are fully paid!
Refund Policy
For those who paid 100% UPFRONT ONLY, full refunds are allowed before I start on the commission. Once sketching begins, no refunds will be offered.
For those who opted for partial payments, if for some reason you can no longer pay for your commission and wish to cancel it through no fault of my own, you forfeit the first 50% of your partial payment, so best to be absolutely 100% committed and have the necessary funds before commissioning me.
If I for any reason decide to cancel your commission of my own volition, you will receive a full refund (plus any applicable fees that were taken via the payment processor).
Chargebacks: Don't do them. You will be blacklisted, I may or may not mention you on my social media/to other artist friends of mine, and I will retain the rights to your piece (minus IP) to do with as I please, including but not limited to reselling and profiting off of it.
Simply do not hire me if you cannot afford me.
General Policy
Copyright and IP.
I, the artist, Selco:
State that my commissions are NOT first come, first serve unless implied otherwise
Reserve the right to reject, cancel & refund a commission for any reason.
Maintain the copyrights to my artwork (The actual drawing, not the IP).
Reserve the right to post any WIPs and the finished artwork to my social media/personal sites for promotional and other purposes
You, the client:
May not use the commission for profit UNLESS you ordered a commercial commission from me. For Vtuber models, commercial does NOT include printing, reselling, redistributing, making merch off of the model art I provided to you.
May post/reupload the artwork to your social media/websites. Please remember to credit me as your artist!
Retain the rights to your respective IP
For adopts, you may not resell your adopt for a value higher than what you paid unless you have other commissioned works bundled with it.
For PNGtuber commissions, you may cut your PNG and turn it into a Vtuber if you like. I do not provide cutting services for PNGs.

Revisions
Revision does NOT mean to nitpick my art style to death (I wouldn't need to mention this if it hadn't already happened before.)
Acceptable revision suggestions: color palette alterations, expression alterations, pose alterations.
Unacceptable revision suggestions: Color the eyes like THIS artist, Change the drawing style to look more like XYZ, make the proportions smaller/bigger.
If you make an unacceptable revision (asking me to alter my ART STYLE in any way) it will be rejected.
During the sketching phase, you are allowed 3 free major revisions and 3 minor revisions.
During the lineart/base coloring phase, you are allowed 3 MINOR revisions. Major revisions will incur a $50 fee per revision.
There will be no revisions after the piece is finished.
Please do not breach the terms of the above stated policies!
Personal Commissions
Not for streaming or commercial usage! You may NOT cut or use the PNG image for rigging/Vtubing purposes. Order a Commercial commission for that!
Delivery method: All personal commission files will be delivered as a PNG. You will receive a version with a transparent background and a version with a white background. Simple flat colored bgs are available upon request.

About Vtuber & PNGtuber commissions:
This section is specifically for those ordering Vtuber/PNGtubers. You may skip over this section if it does not apply to you!
Vtubers
Making Vtuber model art is a very time consuming and cumbersome process. This is reflected in my pricing. If you would like to order a Vtuber model from me, here are some things to keep in mind:
Your model file will be delivered as a PSD file and a PNG file
Your model will be fully cut/separated for rigging
Your model will NOT be rigged, that is a separate process and you will have to hire a rigger (or rig it yourself)
You will need a clear, (at least) flat-colored full body reference of your model's design. I do not offer model design commissions at this time!
Your model will come with 3 free expressions of your choice (please have a expression reference image for each)
Turn around time can vary depending on your place in the queue. Please allow for 30-90 days for delivery of your model file. This is just a general estimate! I may take sooner/longer depending on life circumstances. If you need your model sooner, a deadline can be established for a markup fee of 20% commission value. If you'd like your model done within 14 days of paying, there's a markup fee of 50% commission value.
Note that more complex model designs will have a higher quote price than a simpler design! I will inform you if your design is considered complex by my standards.
Add-on Fees : These fees are optional! If you don't want add-ons, just stick to the standard flat rate!

Adoptables
This section specifically pertains to adopt purchases
All adoptable designs are commercial unless stated otherwise (This does NOT include making a profit off of the original art, however, the design will belong to you.)
All adopts are FCFS (first come, first serve) unless otherwise stated
Adopt pricing varies by species and rarity. Check the # of ★'s on the adopt image to check your adopt rarity! (Rarer adopt species = Higher value)
Adopts are typically paid for via ko-fi donations. My ko-fi donations are set to $5. You will need to multiply the Ko-fi donations to match the total adopt value (ex. Adopt priced at $50 = 10 ko-fi donations.)
If you prefer to buy directly without donating, I will set up a purchase page of said adopt on ko-fi (PLEASE BE SURE TO PURCHASE IT RIGHT AWAY, AS IT WILL BE VISIBLE TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS!!)
Most of my adopts are flat prices but in the event that I do offer bidding, I will enforce a snipe guard of 30 mins. per bid.
Please do not resell your adopt at a higher value than what you purchased it for (unless the adopt is bundled with other commissioned art!)
Minor alterations after purchase are OK!
